Which Teacher Ed Program Do I need?

We offer several options for those interested in becoming teachers, as well as those teachers who are in various phases of their career. Please refer to the chart below to find out which program is right for you.

 

I am a Secondary (grade 7-12) Teacher with initial certification who needs a State Mandated Master’s Degree for professional certification I am an Elementary (k-6) or Secondary (7-12) Teacher with initial certification who needs a State Mandated Master’s Degree for professional certification I am Non-Certified staff (with a Bachelors in a non-related field (i.e., liberal arts, sociology) who wants to earn Teacher Certification. I need both initial and professional certification I am a professionally Certified Teacher (K -12) with 3 years or more of experience, who wants to become an Administrator
I should take the Master’s Program In Adolescent and Special Education I should take the Masters in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages – TESOL I should take the Masters Degree in Early Childhood or Childhood General and Special Education I should take the Certificate in School Building Leadership 
I will earn Professional Certification in my initial Content Area and Professional Certification in Special Education K-12 I will earn Professional Certification in my initial Content Area and Professional Certification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)

I will be able to Teach ESL K-12

I will qualify for initial and Professional Certification in Childhood (K-6) and Special Education (K-12)

Note: Participants qualify for an initial certification upon completion of 24 credits and can teach!

I will qualify for  Certification as a School Building Leader (K-12)

I will be able to become a Principal, Assistant Principal, etc.
