College of Saint Rose – 2019 Honors Convocation and Commencement

Each year, The College of Saint Rose recognizes students who have demonstrated distinguished academic achievement at Honors Convocation. The 2019 Honors Convocation will take place on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 3:00pm in the Picotte Recital Hall of the Massry Center for the Arts.

Following the ceremony, a reception will be held in Standish Atrium of the Massry Center. Additional details about Honors Convocation, including information about lineup and marching in the procession, will be sent closer to the event date.

Our May Commencement ceremony is planned for Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 10:00 am at the Times Union Center in Albany. A reception immediately following will be held on The College of Saint Rose campus. The College will provide bus transportation between the campus and the Times Union Center for those who plan to march in the procession or volunteer to assist. Further details about Commencement will be sent closer to the event date.

Below is the tentative schedule:

  • 8:30am Faculty Gathering in St. Joseph Auditorium
  • 9:10am Buses depart from Saint Joseph Hall (985 Madison Avenue)
  • 9:25am Buses arrive at Times Union Center
  • 9:45am Faculty in line for processional
  • 12:45pm (est.) Buses start departing from the TU Center
  • 1:00pm (est.) Buses arrive back at the Saint Rose campus
  • 1-2:30pm Reception on Saint Rose Campus

We hope you are able to participate in Honors Convocation and the Commencement exercise this year. If you do not wish to march in the procession at these events, please consider volunteering to assist.
